The fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world. While global fashion consumption has more than doubled between 2005 and 2019, €160 million worth of fashion ends up in landfills each year, making it responsible for around 10% of global carbon emissions. These greenhouse gases are massive and active contributors to global warming and we believe that the environmental impact of the fashion industry can no longer be ignored. By taking a more sustainable approach to fashion production, away from mass consumption and inhumane working conditions, we can reduce our carbon footprint and promote more ethical choices.

Liapure Design Studio has set the goal of being sustainable in all its processes to develop a fashion line that, apart from using sustainable materials and producing locally in Germany, is timeless in its designs, and can and should be worn regardless of the season, guaranteeing longevity.

The goal of Plant-for-the-Planet and all partners involved is to plant one trillion trees by 2030, because with one trillion trees we could pull almost ¼ of man-made CO2 out of the atmosphere and create jobs along the way. Already today, more than 100 people work as forestry workers for the organisation. In addition, children train each other to become ambassadors for climate justice at academies around the world - over 91,666 children and young people in 75 countries are already involved!

We at Liapure Design Studio have decided to help so we plant a tree for every item sold from our essential collection, because trees are the cheapest and most effective way to sequester co2, reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero and thus mitigate the climate crisis. In addition, we also support the academies where children train to become ambassadors for climate justice.
At the end of the day, we can choose to be part of the problem or part of the solution!
