This year, the new summer collection of our Atelier line again picks up on the striking floral shapes and embroideries, blouson sleeves and volumes of the previous collections. As key elements, these details will always remain a part of the Atelier collection and a recognisable feature.
The Atelier collection is based on only a few designs, which are only available in a very limited number. Moreover, this collection is finely handcrafted in a small manufactory in Bavaria by our master tailor. Each piece therefore is virtually unique.
In contrast to our Essential collection, which will always be available in muted colours and to which we want to add another muted colour every year, we can work with bright colours within the Atelier collection to complement our Essential line.
This summer we need colour!
After a year of keeping it low key, we want to add some variety to our monochrome looks and use pops of colour like ice blue and coral red to freshen up our styles.
With our SS21 Atelier collection, we add a touch of individuality to our pure essentials and skilfully set accents without imposing ourselves. Powerful eye-catchers like bright red linen trousers or our limited-edition flower-shaped waist belts go well with basics in beige, cream white or black. Without competing with the colour tones, we have found a perfectly coordinated complement to our Essential line.
As in previous collections, the Atelier line always includes one or two designs that are only available made to order - Tailormade. This year it is our white linen dress with intricate lace appliqués, made from an antique tablecloth, which found its way to us as a one-off from the Benninghov linen manufactory. These cloths are only available once and each of these dresses is therefore a one-off, a unique piece that is only made once from this very material. You could call the assembly of the tablecloth into a dress a surgical masterpiece, because it involves sensitivity, puzzle work and precise planning of the elements and their placement on the finished design. It takes our master tailor over 18 hours to make such a unique piece, which of course has its price.
Our iconic piece, our backless blouse, will also be available again, this time in coral-red to match the rest of the collection.
What inspired us?
The longing for the distance
Red and blue reminds us of the sea, vacations and holiday. The colours are cheerful, bright and brighten up the mind.
The Pure
The colour white reflects the pure and unadulterated nature of the brand. We combine the two colour worlds of coral red and ice blue with our balloon sleeve blouse in blue/white stripes, which takes over the transition of the colour worlds and skilfully unites the collection colours with a red embroidered flower on the collar in the back and red mother-of-pearl flower buttons.
The Details
Although we don't have flower shaped collars and cuffs on the balloon sleeve blouses, we do have the embroidery on the collar and the buttons, all of which, whether white or red, are composed of flower shaped mother of pearl buttons! So our flower shapes have been picked up again this year as small details.
Nature
Spring, blossoms, the first rays of sunshine. The flower shape not only brings the feminine aspect to the collection, but also picks up shapes and volumes from nature.

In an age of women, quotas and progress, we no longer want to hide behind masculine-inspired clothing to be taken seriously. We want to create the connection of femininity and straight lines, we want to show who we are, feel comfortable and not squeeze into uncomfortable clothes. Fashion should underline our individuality and let us shine. Voluminous shapes, wide-cut dresses that emphasise femininity with flower-shaped waist belts ..... Body-hugging yet wide cut - Feminine yet cool - We call it Casual Femininity.
